ADDITIONAL COST (as per tour description)

Gratuity fund: EUR 70 in cash will be needed for the local service and gratuity fund. It will be collected upon arrival, and Alessandra will take care of distributing the gratuities to the local staff throughout the week. If you need to stop at an ATM after arriving, no problem we will make sure to make a stop as needed.

Meals: Estimated total food expenses for meals not included in the tour: approximately EUR 150 per person for the week, excluding drinks and depending on individual choices. Drinks are not included, unless specifically mentioned in the itinerary, but can be paid for upon consumption

Optional extra cost at the villa: use of the spa services-30 mins EUR 50, 1 hour EUR 85 payable on site. Services must be booked in advance. 

★ Optional winery tour with wine and olive oil tasting: EUR 35 (25 wine only) includes tasting of 3-4 different wines, high quality, authentic olive oil and finger food. (food option  Eur 35)

★ Optional hands on gastronomic experience and cooking class:  at a local agriturismo near Montepulciano, a truly immersive and deeply Italian experience. Cost is €140 EUR payable directly at the Agriturismo (originally Eur 150).

Optional Massage at 5* Spa resort: on the day we will visit Borgo Brufa you can choose to add a 45 min massage for EUR 50. 

Bracciano Castle visit: entrance tickets are not included and cost €10.00 EUR entrance only or ★ €21.00 EUR  with guided tour (payable on site).

Day 1- Saturday Sept 26th - Group Pick up, Transfer from Rome and Welcome Dinner

Arrival in Rome and private transfer to the villa

NOTE PICK UP TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE AND THEY DEPEND ON FLIGHT / TRAINS ACTUAL ARRIVAL TIME and possible delays. Use WhatsApp to communicate with your driver, Alessandra and the rest of the group. 

• First: For those staying in Rome the night before the group pick up is at 12 pm at Termini station at the UBER stops at Via Marsala 29, 00185 Roma  (see map):   Cynthia Bernard,  Angel Clark, Joy Robins Bryant , Marci  Ruffin Delaney,  Melanie Matthews, Tracey Kornemann 

• Second: group pickup at Rome FCO airport @ 12:30-12:50 pm right outside  the security area, You will pick up your luggage, then exit the security, I will be there to meet you. Indicate via the Whats APP group when you have the luggage and are ready to come out.

Day 2- Sunday Sept 27th - Spa at the Villa, Winery and Todi visit

Slow morning at the villa.

Use of the spa is available. Holistic massages can be requested, but need to be booked in advance. 30 mins EUR 50, 1 hour EUR 85-payable on site.

1:30 PM wine and olive oil tasting   EUR 25 for wine only, 3-4 different wines, EUR 35 includes tasting of, high quality, authentic olive oil and finger food. All local production in a very beautiful location.

Afternoon visit to Todi with free time to explore.

Day 3- Monday Sept 28th - Perugia guided visit, Chocolate cooking class

Head to Perugia the chocolate center of Italy. 

10:30 Private guided tour of the beautiful Town of Perugia. Our guide will be Alessia +393478773826

2:00 pm Hands on chocolate experience at the Perugina chocolate factory where we learn how to make their own iconic Baci chocolates inside one of Italy’s most renowned chocolate factories.  See chocolate school video

Time to explore the streets of Perugia for some relaxed shopping.

Day 4- Tuesday Sept 29th - Easy day at the Villa and Cook Together Party

Relaxed day at the villa.

Use of the spa is available. Holistic massages can be requested, but need to be booked in advance. 30 mins EUR 50, 1 hour EUR 85-payable on site.

Fun guided cooking experience at the villa led by Alessandra.

Time to cook together, enjoy the pool and our private spa, and unwind.

Optionally, before sunset we could drive 25 minutes to Civitella del Lago, a true hidden gem perched on a hill with sweeping views of the lake below, perfect for sunset views above the lake. 

Meals included-breakfast, lunch cooked together.

Day 5- Wed. Sept 30th - Assisi guided visit and Deruta Ceramics Lab

Stop in Deruta  on the way to Assisi, known for its Ceramisc production.  We will  explore its famous ceramic workshops.

2:20 pm Private guided visit of Assisi including the Basilica of San Francesco. Our guide is Paolo +39 349 098 0512

Day 6- Thur. Oct 1st (moved from day 7) - 5* Day Spa Resort and Michelin Star Dinner

10:30 am depart for Torgiano, a charming medieval village where we will explore the Wine Museum with a glass of local  Lungarotti wine at the Museum Osteria. Entrance and wine included.  You will have a possibility to order a light snack or lunch at the Osteria.

15 minutes drive will take us to 5* resort Borgo Brufa.

1:30 pm to 7:00 pm: Luxury day spa experience at Borgo Brufa, day spa use included. 

5 ladies will enjoy a 45' massage at 2:00 pm and 4 ladies at 3:00 pm (order to be decided): Joy Bryant, Cynthia Bernard, Angel Clark, Debra Thomas, Tracey Kornemann, Janice Counts, Marci Delaney, Melanie Matthews, Marciann Robertson

7:45 pm Farewell dinner at a Michelin star restaurant Elementi. Taste menu and wine pairings included.

Day 7- Friday Oct 2nd - Tuscan Culinary and Heritage Experience at Il Pulcino, in beautiful Val D'orcia

Drive into Tuscany through the breathtaking Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape known for its rolling hills and iconic scenery.

Optional hands on cooking experience at a local agriturismo near Montepulciano, a truly immersive and deeply Italian experience. 

Cost of Cooking class in Montepulciano €145 EUR payable directly at the Agriturismo.

Return to the villa in the evening after a full and unforgettable day.

The drive to and from the Agriturismo is through the iconic Val D'orcia, UNESCO site for it's picture perfect landscape.

Day 8- Saturday Oct 3rd - Return ro Rome and stop at Bracciano lake Orsini Castle 

• 9:30 Departure from villa after breakfast

• On our way to Rome drive to Lake Bracciano, a scenic volcanic lake just outside the city, famous for its crystal clear waters and the majestic Castello Orsini Odescalchi, one of the best preserved Renaissance castles in Italy. It is a perfect final stop for a tour of the castle. 

• Castle entrance tickets are not included and cost approximately €8.50 to €10.00 EUR. 

• The tour will conclude in Rome at approximately 3:30 to 4:00 pm
