MEETING INSTRUCTIONS
Please look for the sign [THE FRENCH RIVIERA - Amy and Pete Frederick] when you arrive at the exit. After disembarking, please follow the signs toward the Parking Lot Exit. Port staff will be available to guide you if needed. We will meet you just Outside the Parking Lot for pick-up. Since waiting in that area is strictly prohibited by the authorities (a situation we are actively disputing), our driver will arrive at the designated spot with a sign displaying your name for easy identification. The pick-up location is shown in the attached photo.
Your ship will not dock at the pier and you will need to take a tender boat. In order to start the tour on time and to avoid delays, please book one of the first tender boats available (ask the concierge to give you priority). Please book the Tender as soon as you check into the ship! If you are late to arrive at the pier, we will ask others to wait for you and hope you will agree to do the same in return if needed.
For last-minute emergencies/issues on the day of service only – please call our emergency hotline: +39-0811-892-3397 (we will answer the phone in ENGLISH and there is no need to hand your phone to a local person to speak for you). In the rare event that you cannot find us while others in the group did, they may demand to start the tour without you (happened in the past). If you will not call the number above within 10 minutes from the official start time, we might be forced to accommodate those demanding to leave. We will do our utmost to locate you and we hope that you may agree to wait a few extra minutes for a delayed guest. In the event others will not agree to wait for you the extra time, we will leave and this incident will be considered as NO SHOW. Late comers who miss the tour and 'no show' cases will be charged in full.

Discover the beauty of the Cinque Terre with this small-group shore excursion from Livorno. Travel along the scenic Gulf of La Spezia to visit Porto Venere, Corniglia, and Vernazza, enjoying panoramic views, photo stops, and free time to explore each village.
This relaxed full-day tour offers pickup and drop-off at the pier, an English-speaking driver, and a comfortable vehicle for easy access—no trains, ferries, or long walks required. Perfect for cruise guests who want to experience the charm of this UNESCO World Heritage coastline at an easy pace.
If nothing else works, after a full day tour to Pisa and Florence, you may be interested in visiting Florence for another day The day before you will have received a good idea from your guide about the main sites in Florence, and on the this day you may want to fully enjoy the city and soak it in at your own pace. Alternatively you could check out Lucca.
My suggestion would be:
from the ship take a taxi to the train station. If no taxi is available right at the ship, which may happen, take the shuttle service (I think it costs between 5 and 10 EUR pp), to exit the port, as you cannot walk out of the port by yourself. At the shuttle stop outside the port you will definitely find taxi that can take you to the train station, and on the way back from the train station you will find taxi just outside to take you all the way to the ship.
You can purchase the ticket at the train station. See below for some sample schedule, your ship departs at 8:00 pm so as long as you are back around 6 pm you will be OK. Train strikes do not ha[ppen suddenly and will be announced days in advance.

The small group tours you booked require a minimum of 6 participants to be confirmed. In case they do not get confirmed I can offer the following large tours alternatives (by GT bus), both with a return on time guarantee. Please note that there are no other low cost available alternatives offered by anybody. The only alternative to see Le Cinque terre from Livorno is either the tour offered by the ship or a private tour (just for the 2 of you for EUR 900 total).
YES - Best of Rome Shared Shore Excursion € 150.00 = 25 deposit (paid) + 125 cash balance per person. Confirmed
Skip the lines Colosseum tickets € 40.00 p.p. PAID Your reservation number is #318935773. See here for reservation details.
NOTE on Colosseum tickets:. In case of any issues, please call their hotline: +390699313360. You will receive the actual tickets directly to your email (amyfred1@gmail.com) and to your whatsapp messages, 24 hours before the entrance day. Once you have them, on the day of the tour at 10:00 AM simply walk to the Colosseum entrance. Bring with you the tickets (the email or text message will be OK) together with a copy of your passports. You will have a total of 1 hour of time at the Colosseum stop. Always keep a paper copy of your passports with you.
Note on Pantheon Tickets: the shared tour provider in Rome, they say they cannot guarantee a certain time slot for the Pantheon stop, and therefore you can only see the inside by purchasing the ticket on site. That may have a long line, but you have a decent chance with cash. It has been reported that the line for people paying cash is often very short.
Purchasing options (only for private tours)
Pantheon tickets cost EUR 5 p.p. and can be purchased online here (this is the official site) only one month in advance. Tickets can also be purchased on site but I am not sure what the line may be like.
alternatively as the Nov 1st tickets may go on sale right on November 1st, you can try to buy them at this reseller. I would not be surprised if the reseller would have to wait until Nov 1st to deliver them to you. The Pantheon used to be free untill recently, so things are still not at all smooth. Worst case scenario, check the official site while you are driving on the way to Rome (the driver would likely be able to give you his hotspot), or try getting in line for cash purchase. I will ask the driver how much time you have there and at what time would you need the tickets for.
