Package does not Include:

Cooking class translator. The class is in Italian, I am checking to see if I can get your driver Giuliano to stay with you for the cooking class to be your translator. As soon as I have your class time and his additional cost I will let you know.

 ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 1 (May 8): Transfer from FCO Airport to Hotel in Rome 

Meal plan: Continental breakfast will be served the next morning at the hotel

• Morning Pick up at Fiumicino airport. We will monitor each participant's arrival. Your English speaking private chauffeur will meet you right at the airport, and transfer you to your  Hotel New Homs in Rome.

• Day at leisure in Rome

DAY 2 (May 9): Transfer to Villa and cooking class

• Morning Pick up at Hotel in Rome the latest pickup time is 11am. You can choose to be picked up earlier if desired. Transfer time from Homs hotel to Valle Del Marta Resort is 1.5 hours

• Cooking class with lunch. Time to be decided depending on your arrival

• Evening at leisure dinner not included

DAY 3 (May 10): Orvieto e Civita di Bagnoregio 

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch

• 8:30 am departure for Orvieto (1h 45 min drive) 

• In Orvieto (see map) we will spend the morning strolling through this beautiful town (important sites videos). 

  • 11:30 am - optional  Underground tour (0763 340688, 1 hour) privately for our group.  (not included in the package, only for those interested. See pictures of tour here.

  • 12:45 Lunch at typical trattoria La Pergola (see here).  (+39) 0763.343065 – (+39) 389.6979577 (FS 168663)

• Depart for Civita di Bagnoreggio at about 2:15 pm (40-50 min travel time)

• Visit the small town for about 1.5 hours. IMPORTANT NOTE: reaching this town requires a long walk over an inclined bridge that is not adequate for people with walking disabilities. Those that wish to avoid the inclined walk will be able to rest at a beautiful terrace overlooking the town while enjoying refreshments from a small seasonal restaurant (not included, they serve coffee, soda, beer, snacks etc.)

• Drive back to Villa (1h 30 min drive)  

• Evening at leisure dinner not included

DAY 4 (May 11):  Tarquinia and Scansano Winery 

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, total travel time 1.5 hours each way    

• 8.30 am: Visit Tarquinia (5 min drive, 2h time)

  • your guide will take you for a pleasant walk of this lovely medieval town

  • we will visit the largest and most important Etruscan museum (see pictures), located inside the beautiful Renaissance Palazzo Vitelleschi 

• On our way to the winery hills we will stop at the medieval Castello dell'Abbadia, a suggestive and particularly well preserved fortress. This stop depends on our schedule and will be confirmed by your driver on the day.

• The tour will continue for a drive to the Locanda Terenzi winery near Scansano.  Lunch will be served right at the winery. 

• During the afternoon we will visit the Terenzi winery to learn and taste the famous Morellino di Scansano as well as other locally produced wines (see brochure)

• Return to Villa - Evening at leisure dinner not included

DAY 5  (May 12):  Breakfast and Transfer to port

Meal plan: breakfast

• Check out and transfer to the port of Civitavecchia at Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. Pickup time to be determined (suggested 9:00 with drop off at your ship by 10:00 am).

 RULES and PAYMENTS

• 33% Nonrefundable booking deposit is required in advance

• 33% payment is due at delivery of first plan draft 

• The remaining 34% of the tour cost is due within 30 days from travel time.

• All clients are advised to purchase travel insurance if they think they may need to cancel their trip.
