Arrive in Barcelona at 6:45 am on American Airlines flight 889 from Miami.

Private transfer to Girona using the same driver for all transfers if available.

Cycling day one in the Girona area.

Self guided ride - 

Primary route request is the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Greenway which connects to Girona.

Route is approximately 39.7 km each way.

E bikes required.

Bikes must be suitable for light gravel riding.

Route should avoid busy roads as much as possible.

BIKE RENTAL SERVICE IN GIRONA

Will be provided by a highly qualified local business  that is located just 1 km away from Palau Fugit, so you can just walk to the pickup point. 

When you are  finished with a the ride, the provider will provide you with a charger and take the bikes to Palau Fugit that is able to keep them for you.  If you prefer you can choose to leave the bikes at the bike shop where they will take care of recharging them.  

For the desired use , where you will  do one day of gravel riding and one day of greenway riding, they would suggest one of the 2 eGravel options above: The Turbo Vado SL or the Turbo Creo SL, one with flat bars and the other one with drop bars, as per the picture below.

If you prefer to go self-guided, you can hire a Garmin unit with a GPX track for just €15 per Garmin.

The costs would be as follows:

• € 360 EUR for 2 bikes for 2 days

• € 270 EUR per day for guiding services.

• € 25 per person for the transfer from Sant Feliu de Guíxols back to Girona. Payable on site

• € 15 for each  Garmin unit with a GPX track.  Payable on site

We would like to cycle for one to two days (with a guide and E bikes).  Trail rides, gravel or other rides not in traffic would be best.  Ed is an advanced rider and I am beginner to intermediate level  (I no longer ride as much as Ed).  Singl track is fine as long as it does not have steep declines. This company had a ride posted on Youtube that looked great.
