Room Sharing & the Italian Rhythm
Thoughtfully Hosted. Effortlessly Experienced.
This isn’t a trip you check off a list.
It’s mornings that begin with a proper coffee, wherever we are. Days that unfold naturally. Long meals that turn into conversations. Evenings where no one is in a hurry to leave the table.
We don’t just plan your time in Italy, we share it with you.
So it doesn’t feel like travel.
It feels like you’ve stepped into a way of living you didn’t even know you were missing.
Shared Rooms & the Italian Rhythm
Our journeys are designed to offer more than a trip. They are a true immersion into the Italian way of living, where time is experienced fully, and where connection, beauty, food, and rest are an intentional and essential part of the experience.
If you choose a shared room, you are choosing not only to travel, but to share space and rhythm with another woman. Many of our guests form meaningful friendships this way. It does, however, require flexibility, awareness, and mutual respect.
The Italian Rhythm as Part of the Experience
When in Rome… in the end, we are in Italy 😘
Our days are full and active, aligned with the Italian rhythm and la bella vita. Mornings don’t start at dawn, and even a simple coffee is meant to be enjoyed. The day unfolds in a way that allows you to fully experience it.
Dinner does not begin before 7:30 PM, as restaurants are simply not open earlier. Evenings often extend until 11:00 PM, sometimes with a stroll or time together after dinner.
For this reason, mornings are calm and intentional.
Our typical schedule reflects this:
Breakfast around 8:30 AM
Departures around 9:00 AM
On certain days, earlier starts may be necessary. These will be communicated and discussed together.
The experience is designed to alternate more active days with others that are more relaxed in pace. Some days include more driving, while others allow for slower moments to take in the scenery and enjoy where you are.
The schedule adapts to the overall experience, the country, and the culture. Within a limited timeframe, the goal is to offer a full cultural immersion.
Shared Room Expectations
Shared accommodations work beautifully when there is mutual respect.
Guests may have different habits, such as waking early, opening shades, or preferring a certain room temperature. In a shared setting, these preferences need to be balanced so that all guests feel comfortable.
Mornings remain quiet, with low lighting and shades kept closed until an appropriate time.
Guests who wake earlier step out and begin their day outside the room.
Room temperature is set at a level comfortable for all guests, with personal adjustments made individually when possible.
Personal habits and preferences are balanced, never imposed.
We meet over virtual video calls to get to know each other but flexibility remains essential. The goal is simple: all guests feel comfortable, rested, and able to fully enjoy the journey.
Is a Shared Room Right for You
Shared rooms are a wonderful option for guests who are open, adaptable, and considerate. If you prefer a highly specific personal routine and require specific comfort settings, a single room is strongly recommended.
Single rooms are limited and may not always be available.
Our Approach
This is not a rushed, checklist style tour, nor is it a passive or inactive vacation. It is a curated, intimate experience designed to fully enjoy Italy as it is lived, the Italian way as much as possible.
Each day is designed to be engaging and memorable, while still honoring the natural rhythm of the culture. By joining this journey, you are stepping into that rhythm.
Come with an open mind, a sense of curiosity, and a desire to truly experience. From there, everything comes alive, the moments, the laughter, the connections, and the magic of Italy in a way that stays with you long after the journey ends.
See you in Italy,
Alessandra
