Day 1 - May 31, afternoon and evening

Day 2 -  June 1, Eno-gastronomic Experience in Sorrento with Cooking class

• Leisurely breakfast at the hotel

• 10:00 AM we will be picked up and transferred to a Farm/Restaulant up in the mountains (15 min drive time approximately)

• Mid morning to 3:30 pm: immersive eno-gastronomic experience set in the countryside 

• Guided walk through lemon groves and a historic farmhouse, discovering the secrets of citrus cultivation

• Harvesting fresh seasonal produce directly from the garden

• Hands on cooking experience preparing traditional Sorrento recipes

• Communal farm to table dinner featuring the dishes prepared together, based on typical local products at panoramic sea view terrace

• Return to the hotel 

• Overnight in Sorrento

Day 3  -  June 2, Capri Island Guided Experience

• Breakfast and transfer to the port where we will meet our professional guide.
• Included Ferry from the mainland to Capri (and return) -  Ferry departs at 9:40 am

Day 4 -  June 3, Positano by Sea

• Morning at leisure
• Inclued Boat transfer to Positano round trip -  led by Alessandra.  Transfer round tickets included.
• Free time to explore Positano, shop, or relax by the sea
• Return to Sorrento by ferry
• Evening at leisure.

Day 4 -  June 3,  (OPTIONAL) Walking the Path of the Gods 

Optional excursion: guests may choose to hike the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) on their own or join a group tour. This is a moderate hike with uneven terrain and some exposed sections. Good shoes are a must.

The Path of the Gods starts in Bomerano and ends in Nocelle. To reach Bomerano from Positano is way more complicated than I thought and there are npo group tours that organize the transfer to Bomerno from there. 

They all start in Sorrent around 8:00 am and end back in sorrent 6 to 7 hourst after that. 

The classic way to walk the path is from Bomerano to Nocelle.  The path is somewhat downhill when taken from Bomerano to Nocelle, not strenuous.s

From Sorrento:  Join a  Group tours (only reasonable option)

Bomerano can be reached from Sorrento by joining a group tou.  This is the easiest and safest option.  Around 8:00 am there are group tours that will  pik you up in Sorrento and transfer you to Bomerano, where a guide will lead you on a hike. At the end of the hike the tour takes you back to Sorrento (6-7 hours total tour time). These tours will require looping back to Bomerano from the mid view point. They all end with a transfer back to Sorrento.  

• Here is one of such tours. This is preferable as it includes a walk all the From Bomerano to Nocelle. Necelle is a small town above Positano. The walk reaches Nocelle at aroun 12:30 pm.   Once arrived in  Nocelle you can join the group in Positano by either walking  down (long steps down path) or take a direct line bus that runs at intervals of 1 hour. The bus has only 8 seats the rest is standing room. Here is the bus stop in Nocelle, and here is their facebook page with a schedule.

• Here is another group tour from Sorrento - This is a loop tour where once transferred to Bomerano, you will hike the path to a certain point and then loop back to Bomerano. This also concludes with a transfer back to Sorrento. This tour is not ideal on the same day that we visit Positano as it does not provide a simple way to reach Positano.

Transfer to Bomerano On your Own then hike down to Positano 

After reviewing the logistics, I have concluded that attempting to reach the Path of the Gods trailhead in Bomerano independently is not recommended. Due to the high cost of private transfers and the complex, time-consuming nature of public bus connections, joining an organized group tour from Sorrento remains the safest and most efficient way to experience the hike. On your own transfer options:

• Transfer by tax service: a web search indicates that it can cost between €180 - €220 each way for a 30 + min transfer (this area is very expensive). 

• Take SITA bus from Positano to Agerola Bomerano or fromk Sorrento to Bomerano takes 2 to 2.5 hours and requires changing bus

Day 5 - June 4,  Amalfi Coast with Amalfi and Ravello

• Breakfast at the hotel
• 9:30 am Meet our professional private driver  for a full day private Amalfi Coast experience
• Visit the iconic town of Amalfi, including a stop at a renowned local limoncello producer
• Continue to Ravello with and optiona (suggested) visits to Villa Cimbrone and or Villa Rufolo (entrance tickets are not included and will be purchase on site - 8 to 10 EUR per person).
• Scenic coastal drive with panoramic stops above Positano.
• Return to Sorrento in the late afternoon
• Evening at leisure

Day 6  -  June 5, 1/2 day Pompeii Guided Visit

• Breakfast at the hotel
• 9:30 am Meet our professional private driver for a transfer to Pompeii

• Entrance tickets included
• Return to Sorrento

Eating in Sorrento

Here  are just few names for pizza, gelato and restaurants. 

O'Parrucchiano La Favorita (map) - beautiful location it is like eating inside a garden with lemon trees and all kinds of plants. 

Frankie’s Bar Pizzeria (map) - Small Pizzeria considered by many to be one of the best pizza places in Italy (for Neapolitan style pizza)

Master Hosts Sorrento (map) - Pizza and Trattoria - good prices

Ahum Sorrento (map) - Authentic pizzeria like where Italians would go, with normal prices and selection of pizza and calzone

Marinato Pizza e Mare (map) Lovely small restaurant for pizza and local eatery at the old port

Amorino Gelato (map) - instagrammable flower shaped gelato cone

Fresco Sorrento (map) small, highly rated ice-cream shop. If you want the lemon sorbet served in a lemon get it here.

Eating in Positano

Positano can be quite expensive, I have tried to collect some beautiful and somewhat reasonable locations.

Lo Guarracino (map) - restaurant overlooking a smaller beach

Cafe Positano (map) - elevated view of town and main beach

Il Tridente (map) - even higher view with nice terrace, they offer mixed drinks (about EUR 25)

Franco's Bar (map) - famous for drinks in a beautiful setting  (about EUR 25)

Buca di Bacco (map) - offers everything and it is right at the main beach
